Patterson was selected by the Texans in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He most recently appeared in all 17 regular-season games for Houston during the 2025-26 campaign, starting five of them. The 26-year-old will have an opportunity for snaps in San Francisco, especially with his versatility, though he should be considered a depth piece for now.
