According to Minter, Tyler Loop is a candidate to go on injured reserve after tending to a groin injury coming out of Sunday's loss to the Bills, so Moody is in line to fill in Thursday and quite possibly beyond. Moody most recently appeared in nine games in 2025 across stops with the 49ers, Bears and Commanders, converting 19 of 23 field-goal attempts and 15 of 16 extra-point attempts.
